Lean Teams was incorporated under the legal name of New Growth Advisory Services in 2014. The company was founded by Mr. Wade Farquhar. Like any small business, the personality of Lean Teams is interwoven with the personal story of its founder.
Wade was born into a farming family from Oklahoma where hard work and thrift were key virtues learned at a very early age. In 2011 he and his family moved from the prairies of Oklahoma to the mountains of British Columbia. Since that time he has built Lean Teams to service the needs of clients in both the U.S. and Canada. |
Lean Teams works primarily with trade-based businesses and businesses in construction related fields: Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, landscaping, general contracting, and other field service businesses. We appreciate that our clients work hard, and we believe that it is our responsibility to apply the same diligence to the financial tasks within their businesses.
The clients that benefit most from our services are those that don’t just want to know if their business is profitable; they want to know which parts of their business are MOST profitable… as well as those that are not. This focus on separating winning activities from losing activities has become an obsession and in many ways is what makes Lean Teams unique.
At its core, Lean Teams is a small business that devotes its energy to serving other small businesses. We focus on serving businesses with less than $5 million in annual revenue, and where the business owner(s) still work in an active management role. We limit our active clients to a set number to ensure that we are always accessible and maintain a high level of service.
Lean Teams has offices in Canada and the United States, and services clients in both countries. Currently, all staff are based out of the Squamish, British Columbia office.
